Work in Progress

Robin has set up this page to avoid duplication of work.
Carlos has sent Robin all files needed, and these have been arranged into the two floppy disk sized downloads below. The most important files are in BRAZTRAN.EXE but a few extra files are in BRAZTRA2.EXE if you want them.

The data now needs to be tested with latest v4.91 Baseline. Possible changes needed might be GPSS.HLP and extra files like BRACKNEL.WAV due to changes in the baseline demonstration. Some files in BRAZTRA2.EXE may not be needed (and can be removed).

Robin will make changes to GPSS.EXE if needed for Brazilian Portuguese syntax (order in which words are spoken)

But this looks to Robin like a good job well done :-) - thanks Carlos.

Translation Downloads

BRAZTRAN.EXE should be downloaded into c:\brazilia and run to self-extract into the Brazilian Portuguese files. Copy LANGUAGE.CFG to c:\gpss04 if you want GPSS to start up in Brazilian Portuguese speech. BRAZTRA2.EXE is not essential, but includes more sounds, such as places in Brazil, later parts of demo, etc. These should also be put in c:\brazilia.
